Here's the gist of what Norton 360 backup can do:

It can do other things including verifying backups and setting each Backup Set to run only at idle times.

New features allow you to specify which files should not be copied, and also which days a job should be skipped!
Norton 360 can do that.

Each Backup Set can be set to run automatically, weekly, monthly or manually.

When choosing weekly, the start time can be set, the day(s) can be set and it can be set to wait until the computer becomes idle.

When choosing monthly, the start time can be set, the day of the month can be set and it can be set to wait until the computer becomes idle.

I didn't see where Norton 360 could do a scheduled incremental backup of any single file on any drive to any other file linked to any other computer on the LAN at any interval the user designates like the OP was looking for and Karen's Replicator can. Please show us where Norton 360 can do exactly what Karen's resource friendly program can do.

What exactly do you mean by that?

JerometheGiraff said that he wanted to back files up to several computers on the LAN which is why I recommended Karen's Replicator because it was designed to do scheduled incremental back ups of any file to any other file or computer on the LAN that is linked to the same external backups that it services.

"To any other file" is what I'm confused about. I can think of two possible meanings for that.

Norton 360 can incrementally backup any combination of files (or single file) to any number of locations on any media type or device recognised by Windows and on any computer connected by LAN.

I would also like to mention that I was previously using Windows 7 x32 which was installed on my O: partition. Reinstalling Windows 7 x64 on the O: partition, windows renamed the partition to C: and I lost files I had on my C partition is it possible to get at least some of it back ?
Very sorry to hear about your problems with Paragon Back up and Recovery (Free Edition). I use this software and have repaired my boot sector once and did a full HD restore twice now. I would recommend the use of their software to anyone. GL

In the last month or two, I have started using Paragon Backup & Recovery 2010 Free Advanced. I have only created a system image twice and restored once (test) but so far, I've had no problems.

I have been using Paragon Backup and Recovery on our Win 2000 computer which runs some quite expensive vintage Image Management and Creation software that will not run on modern Windows Operating Systems. Paragon has been doing scheduled backups and I've created the rescue disc but I haven't had the reason to run it so I have yet to find out how well the software works at restoring a System Image.

What I meant was not just backing up a computer using Norton on a LAN but backing up a computer and installing the back up on another computer ? I was reading the page on registry key increase and I did notice that Norton 360 had the least, although Panda Anti-virus had more but this brings me to something important more registry keys doesn't always mean worse, I remember a time I had a virus and Panda found it and removed it more registry keys sometimes means it can dig deeper but less and smarter registry keys can do the same.

I had a Paragon backup that upon installing didn't restore the back up it crashed when I had my virus. As I mentioned I didn't loose alot of data, some of it I was able to restore while the rest I did loose, but there is nothing I can do at this point what I can do is create a solid back up that will work in any situation that presents it's self in the future.

What are the makes, models, and Operating System of the computers that you want to use the same Backup Image with interchangeably?
