Computer won't start after restore of factory settings

    Hello,

Thank you ahead of time, I have had problems with my computer that techs don't seem to be able to resolve, my computer had a virus one that redirects you to other pages from Google, one day I'm working on it and it just crashed, the computer would get a blue screen at the Login in all other than Safe mode (without network) I did a System Restore to a past date and I was able to get it working with Safe Mode and Safe Mode with Network, but Normal Mode would not work (I had no internet).

I hired an IT that remotely removed the virus, after that the computer will not pass the black screen with windows logo it just shuts down and restart, I did a system restore with the factory image, but it does the same thing.

Please help, Thank you so much!

Try running system repair from the win7 install dvd. You need to run it 3-4 times.

If that doesnt help, run a sfc scan, again 3-4 times.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

I have windows 7 home edition in disc, but since I my dell PC did not come with one and it is Windows 7 home premium, it says that the disc does not match the Windows version, doesn't the image from the factory re-install windows and erase everything?

    Thank you for the help
