mjf,
I want the WD HD as a replacement for my laptop. I want to be able to have all sewing software, webinars and office programs if anything goes wrong with the current HD. I have just reformatted the new hard drive again. I can bring it up in windows explorer and clearly see
Windowsimagebackup.
I open that folder and it has a folder called LatitudeE6510
I open that folder it has
Backup 2010-12-11 210609 12/11/2010 4:30PM File Folder
Catalog 12/10/2010 4:30PM File Folder
SPPMetadataCache 12/10/2010 4:30PM File Folder
Mediald 12/10/2010 4:30PM File
When I try to restore it now say "bootmgr" missing.
I am sorry I am not making myself clear but I have always had a spare harddrive as a backup and I do keep my spare hard drive up to date.
