Macrium users - Hirens boot CD

Macrium users may want to try Hirens boot CD 12.0. It has a Macrium Pe capability now.

Apart from all the utilities on the Hirens disk which keep growing I thought the mention of the Macrium Pe capability was worth a mention.
Macrium users will know that normally you have to use the linux boot disk unless you make your own customised pe disk. It's not a standard option with the free version.

Isn't the 'Macrium PE' just the 148 MB Windows PE download?

    .
What download are you referring to?
I should have stated "Macrium Reflect free" users.
The one on the Hirens disk is Macrium software that does image and recovery on the bootable cd.

Edit: I'm not saying there isn't a downloadable equivalent - I just don't know about it.

I use a 148 MB download from Macrium Reflect which is the Microsoft Win PE 2.1 to do image recovery on my Win 7 x64 computer.

According to Macrium Microsoft charges $40 for the download and rights to continual updates of the Win PE so I guess that makes it the paid version because Microsoft got my money although I did not pay anything for the Macrium Reflect software.
