    can't access win7 backup & restore page

    Hello,

I've been using the win7 backup regularly, but for some reason today, when i'm trying to get to the page it won't show up.
Even when i try to access it from the start command line, i see it but the page itself won't start/show up.

It's the first time it happens to me and i really don't know how to access it/bypass the problem.

I'd really appreciate some assistance in this annyoing issue.

    Thanks!

Try to restart it directly from here ( %SystemRoot%\System32\control.exe /name Microsoft.BackupAndRestore ) - paste that into a RUN box. Maybe the shortcut link is broken. Then you can make a new shortcut (just pull the little icon that looks like a disc in front of the address in the explorer address bar on the desktop).

Also thought to start in safe mode, but then i don't have it in the control panel.
Tried to do it from the start and didn't work either...

What can i do???( Beside installing windows again which i don't want to...)

    1. Try sfc /scannow - this is a command you run in elevated Command prompt. It may fix it. If not:
    2. Run a system repair: Repair Install
