    Tried this.. didnt work :

Boot into Safe Mode without networking and open a command prompt as administrator.

Now Type net stop winmgmt and hit Enter.

This will stop the Windows Management Instrumentation Service.

Next go to C:\Windows\System32\wbem and rename the repository folder to repositoryold Restart.

Now again open a command prompt as administrator, type net stop winmgmt and hit Enter.

Next Type winmgmt /resetRepository and hit Enter.

    Restart your system.

Now see if you can create a System Restore Point manually

OK.... so I cant make a System Restore manually...as it says

    Current Usage > 0

So tried downloaing a windows update (any random one as I know they make a restore point)

Once it installed I rebooted the machine..

Checked the System Restore .. now I have usage > 85.05 mb
It made a restore point ????

But still cant create a Restore Point ....

    SOLVED :

MICROGRAFX PUBLISHER 10 WAS THE CULPRIT

Some reason Windows 7 doesnt like this program and gives no error when it Installs or when being used.
So file deleted and now all good!

    wooohoooo...come onnnnnnnnn!
