    System restore - phantom drive?

When I run System Restore, two c: drives are listed:

    • One has a greyed checked box next to it, is described as "Local Disk (C:) (System)", with status "Ready to restore".
    • The second has a greyed unchecked box next to it, is simply described as "Local Disk (C:), with status "The drive cannot be found".

Can anyone suggest why a second drive is being reported, and whether I should/can do anything to resolve it?

If you're still checking in on this, check out this website and see if it helps.

I know it says Vista, but it probably will apply. At least you can read it and see what you think.
