    Problem on system restore. Need help.


    I want to turn on my system restore, but when i was going to open system protection this error appear.



    Then when i click, this one will appear.



    then the other buttons on the system protection tab are disabled. And can't search any available drives. Thanks for any response to this.

    Is your Volume Shadow Copy Service disabled? If yes, set it to automatic or manual.

    sir, it is on manual. What other things should i need to do?

    The "manual" setting is fine. Do you actually have any restore points on this partition? Check with vssadmin list shadows in an elevated command prompt.

    It says: No items found that satisfy the query. Can this problem be cause by a virus?

    That is not a virus. That says that you have no restore points. Check whether system restore is activated. Or if you just installed SP1, they got wiped out anyhow.

    after a long time of searching solution for my problem, i found out now the solution.

    I am using tune up utilities and the turbo mode is enable, i just need to turn it of :)
