    Cant Restore

I have a dell studio xps 8100 and I can't find the restore option when starting up. When it starts up all i have are these two which do not give me anything.
    F2 - Advanced Menu
    F12 - Boot Menu

I want to reinstall my whole computer, wipe everything and restore it to factory settings.
    Please help!

You need to tap the F8 key repeatedly at boot. Dont just press and hold, concentrate and keep tapping till you get the Advanced boot options. Then choose repair my computer, in the next screen there should be dell restore option.

FYI, you can also do this via datasafe. Open dell datasafe via start menu- all programs-dell datasafe. Click on Restore, then choose the option that lets you factory restore.

Make sure you back up critical data before doing all this.

All my data has already been backed up. Also I jam the F8 key at least 30 times at the boot menu and nothing happens.
    Any ideas?

What about dell datasafe, you tried that? Also, if you have created recovery disks, just boot from those, they'll take you through recovery.
