    Any way to recover my photos?


    is there a way i can take my hard drive somewhere to have an undelete done on it? like they do with camera sd cards? i lost everything as well but it's my photos i'm most worried about.

    Download and try recuva. It has done miracles for others.
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/

    You can also try to restore from backup and restore. It is part of the OS.
    Finally, although drastic, a system image will do the trick.

    alright thank you thank you thank you. i'm actually in china so the download was a bit difficult b/c of the firewall but i was able to do it through a proxy. - i've run the deepscan but 7,000 thousand files are being ignored- how do i unignore? also, the only pictures i'm recovering are ones i deleted myself back when i was using vista. normal?

    If having problems with recuva, try backup and restore. It part of your OS. The pics should be there.
