Windows 7: corrupted hard drive (trying to recover files)

Then in addition to other file recovery options (eg. Recuva as mentioned) there is the partition recovery operation provided by "Partition Wizard".

A full disk management screenshot may help others help you.

Did you add the screenshot to post 1?

Anyway, I: is raw so you have no file system so my recovery suggestions still apply. If you cannot recover the partition a deep file scan may be necessary and it does take a long time.

I also notice your disk 1 is dynamic. Unless you specifically want this you should consider changing it to Basic.

so what program should i use to recover my data off of my hard drive
and how do i change it from dynamic?
