No a crash dump is a report that is created by windows when something goes wrong, it is built that way so people can read those reports and tell you what went wrong and how (if possible) to fix it.

i had the warning as i said , a few times after i tried to run ubuntu from a usb, then when trying to boot back to windows, it says there was sum error, and needs to do a fix, sumtimes didnt say anything, and goes to a blue screen, with white light effect at the top,
then i dunno if its scanning for issues, or just crashed, so i tookbattery out and restarted.
but since not trying anymore ubuntu stuff, it hasnt happened

so.. wat do u reckon boss?

I think that was because you didn't let it shut down properly.

Do you see a file in C:\Windows\Minidump ?

I really don't think you will.

Then you have no dump reports. :)

So it wasn't a crash, it was from just not being shut down properly.

    You're good to go.
