Is there a way to backup apps?

when I get my windows 7 copy, I'm going to do a clean install, and I really want to backup my firefox and such (I've added so many add-ons to it so i don't want to have reinstall all of them again). so can you? oh, and one more thing i just want to clear up, do you have to reinstall drivers too? i think you do, but since they make certain hardware work, i also think you wouldn't have to. this is all so confusing!

Ok clean install is much better. you can import your settings but you are going to have to re-install drivers that win 7 doesn't and apps. What OS are you coming from? you could dual boot and have both if you have enough room on th HD

    Hope this helps a bit

In Firefox get yourself FEBE addon ,thats to make complete backup of your profile with all extensions.
For drivers ,you can download DriverMax - it is app for export and import of all drivers.
I can't post links here ,so you'l have to google it.
