Macrium didn't detect the ext drive as a "Local HDD", when i was setting the backup destination. But when i selected "browse for folder" i could select a folder i created in my Ext. HDD.

I think thats ok, right?

That sounds correct. The backup should be in the folder.

Done When i have to recover from the macrium image ( i hope never ) i think i'll come back here and understand well all the process before recovering.
