    Backing up 3 computers ?


    Hi.

    Can I use the free Macrium Reflect to back up 3 Windows computers ?.

    If so, how to ?

    Sure you can do that. You need to install Macrium on each PC. But you can put the images on the same external disk - suggest seperate folders though.

    Many thanks for a very fast reply.

    How can that be done, if automatic schedules are wanted to backup via a network ?.

    It is 2 backups to be controlled and with for instance differential backups

    I have an USB Network drive, that my 2TB harddrive can be connected to.

    1. You can schedule it if you right click on the XML file. There you have a "schedule" option.

    2. With free Macrium, you cannot do differentials or incrementals - only full images. If you want those, have a look at free Paragon.

    3. Free Paragon may also work with network drives - not sure though.

    I have made such schedules on the computer having paid for Macrium, and that has worked ok.

    I have read that also, what you say, that with the free Macrium one cannot do differentials nor incrementals.

    I will look for Paragon.
