Lets assume i have my system image on an external hard drive and my current hard drive fails.
How the hell do i re-install windows 7 and recover my old system on the new hard drive without a boot CD?
In your situation, I'd assume you would have to boot from the USB stick.
A good place to start would be to make the HP/Compaq USB Recovery disk.
Is there a way to make a boot drive on a USB flash drive without a windows 7 CD or making one?
Ok discovered that the HP recovery prorgam preinstalled on my PC allows me to create a bootable USB flash Drive. just need a bigger Flash drive....
