mjf,
Thank so much for your advice and support. Your idea of new image disk is great. In very easy way can solve bed problem when computer be out of order.
This message I writing to you from restoring disk C: after Re-Image old C: disk!!!
I make a few mistakes-first time did it-but finally every think work perfect.
What I did:
1.Crete System Image with saving disk C: and with "New Volume=100 MB". Get information that no space for shadow copy. Change it for saving place C: only
2.Check additional option, in advanced, for automatically restart and check update error
3.During Windows file loading, system stops and told me "bookmgr is missing". I was thinking that it is end of story. I stop system, remove Repair Disk DVD and start again. Goes!
4. After a few minutes of restoring disk, get message that process failed because of error 0x80070002. Stop restoring and start again. Get it without any error.
Thanks again mjf. Maybe next time you give me exercise using different system of backup.
Please accept all the best and best regards.

Yes you follow the same process.
Again, we are talking about having a spare laptop HDD that sits in a box as a cold standby. Prepared so that all you need do is physically take out the old laptop HDD, plug in the standby and fire up a fully working laptop. It will be using it's own laptop image of course.

Once you know the process of replacing your HDD it's a personal choice as to how many of your PCs you need an immediate standby drive. The image is all you need to make one.

I am not sure to explain my question correctly.
I have 6 month Samsung laptop, and 9 month HP Touch Smart (monitor and computer in one box). I do not have any spare laptop to take out laptop HDD.

I make Windows backup of Samsung laptop with with DVD System Repair Disk. Unfortunately I do not know what to do next to create second Image Disk like in processes before.
Will appreciate assistance.
Best regards

Hello, Since being on this forum I've learned a lot. So one thing I did was create a non-administrative account to run from. I installed in the user account. I copied the setting from the administrator on the TBird setup. It recently updated to 3.14 and the admin account is fine. The user...

What is wrong with this pc NOW?
I was on a computer game and when I got off the resolution was huge. No big deal, it happens sometimes and it's nothing that a reboot doesn't fix UP UNTIL NOW. So I reboot the pc, but it comes back the same way. Plus my anti-virus is off (it does that sometimes too) but I can't put it back on. ...

OK I had an issue with my pc not allowing me to use 2x2Gig ram chips together. This was solved with a bios update but it did cause me the following problem. First off after doing the bios update I checked the system with just the original 2gig of ram - it seemed ok but a little slow. I then added...
