Yes I even scanned five times just in case. Is there any way at all to wipe the hard drive and reinstall windows? I have a lot of DVD+R CD's I can burn, and I have a USB Flash Drive.

The clean install tutorial should work, though I'm not sure why it wouldn't work for you. Do you have any other hard drives you can use?

The one thing that could help up is an error code. Does the error give you one?

Ok I have made my mind up. I am going to buy a new hard drive for it. I found some extra work I could do that's why I haven't had the chance to reply. But heres what my plan is, let me know if it won't work. I want to buy maybe a 500gb hard drive. On the the laptop it has some info about it.
Notebook Model: HP Pavilion dv6700 Notebook
Processor Type: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60
Processor Speed: 2000 MHz
Total Memory: 3072MB
If I could find one at the most $100 that would be great. Now I also don't know a lot about drivers but will my trackpad, keyboard, and external superdrive work? I really don't know a lot about drivers so I'm afraid to do this without some info from people. Anyway there is probably more you might explain but I can buy the hard drive, and install it I just need to know what I need or what it will do after that. Let me know if this is a good idea or if I should use the money to fix it again, I have tried taking it someone and wasted money, they couldn't even fix it so I'm thinking I have to do this.

Before you buy it, I'll see if I can get some other users to help you out. There's always a chance that I've missed some crucial point and there's an incredibly obvious solution to your problem.

To do the clean install I would first wipe the hard disk clean, then create (recreate) the partitions, and mark C: as active.
Like this: SSD / HDD : Optimize for Windows Reinstallation
Do the above procedure using your W7 installation DVD. Just choose the "Repair My Computer" option when the DVD boots and the start Diskpart from the "Command Prompt" option there.
Then you can do the clean install like the tutorial JaidynM posted earlier.
If you do the above procedure you need to realize that everything on your hard drive will be deleted. Do you have your user files backed up?
If you have data on partitions that you want to keep - something that may or may not be advisable in some of the more extreme virus attacks - then you could use Method Four in this tutorial: Secure Erase / Wipe : Definition and Methods to clean just the OS partition.
If you can post a screenshot of your Disk Management window we can look to see if there are any other issues you may need to plan for.
As for drivers, you should be able to find these on the website for your laptop model. Download the driver packages and/or copy them to a USB thumb drive to make installing them easier and faster on a clean install.
