sfc /scannow & windows resource protection

    Hello,

When running sfc /scannow, it stops at 7% and displays the following message:

"windows resource protection could not perform the requested operation".

The sfcdetails.txt file shows the following errors prior to stopping.

How do I fix this? Thanks in advance for your help.

    This may help.

Run error-checking for the C drive and select
    -Automatically fix file error
    -Scan for bad sectors.

Note this may take some time.

    Disk Check

    Then retry SFC
