System Image restore points--How to delete

Hi, I use Win 7, 64 bit and have some System image Restore points with type as Backup. I have tried to delete the same by cc cleaner etc. But the problem is that these system image restore points do not show up in CC cleaner. I can only see them when I go to Control Panel--Recovery--Open system restore--show more restore points. The description is " system Image Restore Point" and type is backup.

I was wondering whether I can delete these without effecting my ability to execute system image restore in future and how much of GB do they utilise?

I have nearly 4 of them way back to July 2011 and would like to recover my HDD space if I am not going to get adversely affected.

I also use Macrium reflect disk imaging and backup software and are these points related to the Macrium software by any chance.

    Thanks.

    Have you checked System Properties?

You can always delete unwanted restore points by switching system restore off, rebooting your computer, and then re-enabling system restore if you still want to use it.

In CCleaner , click tools > System restore .... it will delete all but the last one . Select and remove :)
