    create a system image


    i am trying to back up and create a system image but evert time i do i get this error THE SYSTEM CANNOT FIND THE FILE SPECIFIED OX87007002, PLEASE DOSE ANY ONE KOWN HOW TO FIX THIS, i have window 7 64 bit professional i think the problem is with this system reserved partition

    I, also, have Windows 7 64bit and this has always worked for me. Open Control Panel and in the Category View click on System and Security where you will see a link, Backup Your Computer and from there click on Create a System Image. I do this about twice a week and have even restored from an image that I made previously. As I said, it has never failed me.

    thank you for your reply, frank1 its same thing and i have try that way, jcgriff2 i also have try the Error code 0x8100002F and or error code 0x80070002 when you back up files in Windows 7 still dose work?

    if anyone kown how to fix it please let me kown thank you

    Where are you attempting to store the image?
    Are you sure that scenario 3 in the MS link doesn't apply to you?

    Filling out more system spec information would help others to offer suggestions.

    thank you reply mjf, yes i try that but when try to download it say that the update is not applicable to your computer, i also try the scenario 2 and did not work:

    system spec information

    window 7 professional service pack 1

    amd phenom II+4 920 processor 2.80 ghz

    ram: 6 gb

    64 bit operating system

    nvida graphics driver


    i am try to put it on a usb port hard drive anything else i put on drive from the computer works ok
