Error when trying to restore computer with F8

    Hi,

When I try to restore my computer by pressing F8 when it turns on I can get into the advanced options but when I select the recovery setting I get an error:

    "windows recovery

    recovery program failed to start"

    (sorry no error code)

I have looked online but no one seems to have a fix. I don't have a recovery disk either.

       Information
We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD.

Did you make the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Disks?

Have you anything significant to the notebook like repartition or reinstall another copy of Windows?

You probably should send in a screen shot of the full "Disk Management".
It looks like you may have damaged the Fn recover capability.
Use the windows snipping tool and the little paperclip icon to upload.

Alternatively backup data and reinstall to factory condition using recovery disks you have made or buy them.

You will need to use your Recovery Disks to reinstall, as you have deleted the Toshiba Recovery files from Drive D:
