Windows 7 Not booting on laptop? strang... help please...

    yes, it can see all the files and correct logos ect,. butwhen im trying to boot from hd, i cant, i think it IS the drivers so im gonna look into downloading some now

    Just wanna know if SATA has been set to AHCI on laptop and desktop

    btw i have 2 recovery disks... 1 window 7 one i burned exclusivly from my os and the other my dad bought a while a go, windows pe or somthing... which is better?

    Do you see the installation, so it find a windows installation?
    Do a startup repair from recovery console. Look at "view diagnostics" and post what is wrong (not 0x0)

    use win7 install dvd or win7 recovery disk (64bits if you hav 64bits windows)

    not important right now. look in bios for sata settings. Can be AHCI, RAID, IDE, Comparitive.

    I can't go on laptop atm but I booted repair diagnostics and it said it found one error and fixed it. No result

    btw did you install win7 64bits? if so is your laptops cpu 64bits?
