I can't go on laptop atm but I booted repair diagnostics and it said it found one error and fixed it. No result
So it booted all by itself to repair diagnotics? no external attached, no dvd?

So it tried to boot in win7 and failed for some reason and entered repair diagnostics automagically?

you should have told me before!!!! please confirm

or did you start repair diagnostics from dvd?
