Thing is, I want to restore my Firefox bookmarks, not IE favourites.
I can locate my bookmarks in Firefox profiles, but they are in .json and I can't open them. Grrr
Have you tried restoring bookmarks from Bookmarks/show all bookmarks/import and backup?

Normally one keeps the bookmarks in FF and IE manually synchronized. If you also did that then import the IE favorites into FF.

I've wasted far too much time on this so I'm retiring defeated and will just have to build up a new set of bookmarks.

After installing Game Guard the desktop entry in alt+tab menu desappeared. I have removed GG, but the desktop entry in alt+tab did not come back. How can I restore it?
I tried the repair but no effect.
My issue is, the SORT BY is gone from the content right click on the Desktop.
My Laptop is identical including the OS Home Preminum 64bit and it has the SORT BY but it disappeared from my Desktop. Someone said to get rid of FENCES and I did but still no SORT BY....
