    Acronis 2010

    Hi Folks,
All my back-ups are done using the 'One Click' Method.
Now that I have successfully added a Standard Account for myself on my Laptop, how should the back-up be made, using the 'Admin' or Standard account.

The images were made using the same settings on both accounts with TreeSize portable. A different amount of files is given.

If I remember correctly, when Acronis TIH 2010 starts, UAC will prompt that it's escalating to admin privs.

It always has done on my settings. But that's not what I asked about.

Sorry, my thinking was that if UAC needs to escalate to admin privs, the program probably needs you to be an admin. With any backup system, you want to ensure that process that the application is running under will have access to all files. Without it, it might not be able to back everything up.

For example, with applications like Veritas Backup which we use at work, the backup exec service account is always a local admin on our windows servers.
