    Drives and Acronis

When I installed I created 3 partitions 'C' 'D' and 'E' and installed on the first one which shows under My Computer as 'C' However when I boot to an Acronis True Image Disc to make a Backup it sees my 'C' Drive as having 100mb and my system installed on 'D' drive it then renames my othe partitions as 'E' and 'F' If I backup what Acronis sees as 'C' and 'D' drives will this cause problems when I restore this Backup?

Many here are reporting that Acronis works OK with W7 ..
But I'm having problems with it ... Especially if I have a third Data partition.
There's a new version coming soon .. maybe they'll fix it.

All I can do right now is backup by Cloning to a spare HDD

Something is wrong, the Backup file from 'C' and 'D' came out as 11,230kb and was copied in about 10 seconds. I am using True Image 11.

If I have a third data partition after C ...
    Nothing
works as long as the 3rd data partition is on the HDD.
I can't even boot from the ATI boot CD or the W7 DVD.

I suspect that there's something unique about my computer .. Bios ???

If I remove the 3rd data partition .. then recover ..
It takes Two repair installs from the DVD to fix it.

The new ATI is in Beta testing now.

    ATI 11 or the latest Home2009 ... I've tried it in a W7-32 and 64 install.
Is there a 64 bit version of ATI ???

If this isn't fixed .. It will be a W7 show stopper.
I refuse to put my ~~200gig of Data in my System partition.

Looks to me like having the extra W7 Boot partition will be a real annoyance.

You know I dont know abt ati 64bit. Im running an old (ati2009 rev 9.6) and have 6 partitions on the first drive with no problems. Yeah I really dont know what I would use if acronis didnt work. I dont like win 7 built in, and Norton Ghost yuch.

No data on system partition is one of my comandments.
