Confused!!!
first of all i was not sure where to put this thing so i just created a new thread(dont mind).
ok so i was just playing around.
i created a "system image" from the control panel and gave the backup location as F: on my hard disk.
later on i opened the windows disk management and "attached a vhd" by browsing to that image i created earlier. now i could see another partition of 70GB in "My Computer". it was just the same as my C: ( c: was of 70GB when i created the image, later on i created the recovery partition too, from it)
anyways then in the disk management i selected "delete volume" and deleted that new partition, then that new partition disappeared. then in the disk mgt i right clicked on the "70GB" unallocated space and created a new partition. the new partition was back again. i basically have three partitions -C:,F: and one RECOVERY partition. the sum total of these three is 465GB which is the actual capacity of my 500GB disk. so i am wondering that how am i able to use that "new 70GB" partition(i stored a video of like 400MB in it, just to check)??? where the hell is that 70GB space coming from?? i have uploaded a screenshot.
this isn't a problem for me of course but i want to understanding cause what i am seeing is obviously IMPOSSIBLE.
sorry for boring you with this LONG post, but pls answer me!!
