    Acronis not working?

Hello everyone and sorry to bother again but I am having some trouble with Acronis.

With the great help from the forum, I was able to download and use Acronis from WD website.

I was able to install successfully on both my laptop and my PC. So, I tried to burn the Bootable Standalone Recovery Manager from the software itself. I burnt it into a DVD-RW disc 4GB in size and it can backup on my laptop just fine but when I want to backup my PC using the disc, it just 'stop' at a black screen. However, I was able to navigate from; selecting the Acronis and Windows but after I clicked it with my mouse, it just went black screen.

Is there something that I did it wrong? Please help me with this one, thank you.

It sounds like you burned the Acronis recovery disc to a DVD and it sounds like your laptop does not have a DVD reader.

Burn the Acronis recovery disc to a CD-R (NOT a CD-RW). I just did that as I installed the new 2013 version and made an Acronis 2013 recovery disc.

Thank you for the reply. I believe both my laptop and PC has a DVD-reader, they both can read my game (Red Alert 3 disc) well since I thought about that for a moment but I will try the CD-R method first.

    Thank you.
