Backing up files using Robocopy

    Hmmm, that's interesting. If it costs me to pay, even fora penny. I would rather stick with the solution of just creating a destination folder that's already compressed :)

    Yeah, it's simpler. I wouldn't add another app just to do one thing that can already be done by the OS, albeit with a little less organization and an extra step in a batch file. Actually, if all you'll ever have is this one particular file, you could compress it after the copy and keep it in the same folder, all in one step...

    Yeah, I think so. At least I know now that this is really a common problem of robocopy and not an isolated case.
