recover deleted system volume information on external drive

Honestly don't know y I deleted it but, I was cleaning files from my drives while in Linux and I deleted the system volume folder from one of my hdds and now all my data is inaccessible. Haven't touched the drive since, would like a surefire way to get it back. Here is my set up
    1. 64gb ssd Windows 7
    2. 1tb hdd internal (deleted system volume folder)
    3. 1tb external hdd 50gb Linux partition 950gb ntfs partition
    Thanks in advance

Have you had a look at the current version of the HIRENS boot CD. this has lots of free recovery tools on it. I have used it a few times for exactly the purpose you need it for...

    Go here: Download Hiren

And scroll down about 3/4 of the way and you will a download link.

System Volume information are the files for System Restore, and shouldn't stop you from booting 7. If you have a Windows 7 DVD or if you have downloaded and burned the Hiren's CD, boot off of that in the 7 DVD choose your Language and then Repair Your Computer. If that fails, it will take you to the RE (Recovery Environment) Here choose Command Prompt Or you can boot the Hirens and choose the Mini XP get to the command prompt and type chkdsk C: /R and press enter. Check Disk will try and fix any file errors.
