    restore

Hello. (Sorry for my English, the translation is done with a machine)
I have Windows 7 Ultimate, and I can not restore system. I only see restore points a day. I am 10 days back. Please if someone knows. Thank You.

Hi konstantin and welcome to Seven Forums. You may want to read through this tutorial. In particular step 8 shows you how to show more restore points.

I don't see a screenshot either. Follow kado897's instructions to do so.

You should be aware that restore points don't get created every day. If there've been no installs/uninstalls that trigger the creation of a restore point, Windows will only create an automatic restore point about once a week. Consequently, you may not have a restore point for that specific date.

As long as you've got that checkbox ticked for "Show all restore point" or "Show older restore points" (or however it's phrased) you'll see all past restore points that still exist listed in the scrollable window. Because automatic restore points are created only once a week, you may only have a restore point that was created within a few days of the date you desire, rather than one created on the actual date.

I apologize for any inconvenience this has brought the picture (I am a new user).
I repeat that I see only two days restore points, eg, 8/72012 and 9/7/2012.
I want to do the reset to 1/7/2012.
My problem is that I deleted the IE 9 did not return IE 8 and thinking that I can come back to IE8 and I deleted it.
    Thank you.

I'm assuming then, that you want IE9 back, right?

If so, you might find it availabe again via Windows Update. If not there you can download it via:

Internet Explorer - Web Browser for Microsoft Windows

You may need to adjust the size allocated to System Restore if you no longer have restore points more than a couple of weeks old:

System Protection - Change Disk Space Usage

Increasing the allocation will not magically allow you to restore from the date you're now wanting to use, it'll just allow storage of more of your future restore points before the oldest gets deleted.
