    Filling out more general system information in your profile would be a help. I noticed you ilsted the 64bit Ultimate as the OS while only having 2gb of memory installed.

    The recommended minimum for the 64bit Windows is 2.5gb. Dropping in a pair of 2gb dimms or adding more of the same 1gb dimms would be a large ram memory wise to see everything running smoother overall.

    As far as the programs themselves that are not running the image you made of them may have been corrupted somewhat where the solution for them would a reinstall of each of the one running into problems.
