Probably not. If everything was not included in the backed up disk image you are probably sunk as usually the restore procedure will format (wipe) the drive before restoring.

I use Acronis True Image to make backups, but I do complete hard drive backups. Then if I have to recover from a backup I have everything that was on the hard drive. There are some backups that only backup certain files or there are "incremental" backups that only backup what has changed since the last backup. The incrementals can get confusing so I only use the full complete hard drive (all partitions) backup method.

There is a chance, but only a very small chance...........try Partition Recovery from Partition Wizard.

We have seen people use this successfully in the past to recover deleted/formatted partitions.

You should create another partition on your hard drive to start storing your data on, or buy an external hard drive, so this doesn`t happen again.

Sorry mate - you're out of luck then. Do a clean install:

Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

and then create external system images in case you accidentally delete stuff again:

    Imaging with free Macrium

I don't like using another partition on the same hard drive. If the hard drive would fail all is lost. Backup to some other media.

Yes, but if you separate the data from the OS - and back up your data separately to either a 2nd HDD or to a USB drive - it makes life much simpler when you have OS problems. Imaging a smaller partition is worthwhile since it can take less than 10 minutes so more likely to be done fairly frequently. Making sure all the data is separated out is the problem - things like Favorites and data stored with programs for example. I have used this system for more than 10 years and have not lost any data and all my restores with Macrium or Acronis have worked so hardly ever needed to do an OS install either. Since I have never used the recycle bin perhaps I am more careful with my data in the first place ...
