I've tried to run the commands again but the problem remains. when i run the attrib command it still says "file not found"
File is on E instead of C. Try to read and understand what I wrote!

Mark E active and reboot. Post back results.

Also make PQSERVICE primary instead of logical (using partition wizard). Otherwise partition isn't bootable if you ever want to use it. Don't assign a driver letter to it in windows!

    Code:

    attrib -h -s -r e:\boot\bcd
    del e:\boot\bcd
works? file is gone? If so do "startup repair" 3 times with boots in between

i didn't assign that letter to PQSERVICE that's just how it is. I'll change its status though. Should I leave System Reserved as the active partition?

    that will be solved later.

Mark system reserved active. Be sure it is! It is E just be sure it's E!

    atrib -h -r -s e:\boot\bcd
    del e:\boot\bcd

    Did it exist? Gone now?
