If nothing happens the file is deleted succesfully. Otherwise it would say "file not found", "access denied"

Now boot again from dvd and perform a startup repair. Do it 3 times with reboots in between to be sure it fixes everything.

BCD missing status:0xc000000f means there is no BCD on active partition in \boot folder. Very strange it was there because you deleted it! Maybe it was just corrupt(?) You did chkdsk/f the "system reserved" volume and it didn't find any errors.... correct?

Any idea why PQSERVICE and ACER partition were lost/deleted?

ok i run thr startup repair 3 times with restarts in between. now the pc is starting up without a dvd. ani've managed to log inot my account. it's a bit slow. i've opened Computer and I can see the ACER and PQSERVICE partitions. but I can't see the SYSTEM RESERVED. Plus before PQSERVICE was hidden.

    What now?

Did you see system reserved before problems appeared? Normally is hasn't a drive letter assigned... so quite normal. Please post screenshot of disk management

I've run Diskpart, list volume and all the partitions are there but SYSTEM RESERVED isn't assigned a letter. Should I leave it that way? And how can I hide the PQSERVICE partition?

System Restore Configuration - Enable or Disable

Enable it on ACER (C) if not enabled now. Don't enable it on PQSERVICE!!
