Cannot start Win7 after removal of account

My laptop is a Mecer and OS is Win 7 Ultimate
A friend put a password on my PC. I don't want this. So I decided to delete this account. I restarted my PC and have been asked to logon by pressing ctrl+alt+del. Now I sit with a big problem. I cannot get into my own pc. I thought it worked like Win XP, but unlucky me, it was not.
I tried to start in safe mode to get to command prompt and type a password in there as I read on another forum, but after the pc started up in safe mode, it go back to the screen where you should logon by pressing ctrl+alt+del.
Is there not an admin password with Win 7
Thanks for your help in advance

How did you remove the account? You only can do it from another working account. So that other account is still there. BTW if you want to change/remove a user account's password you can do it using same dialog as where you did delete user account.

I was in ctrl panel and choose to remove account I think. It is gone now. Now I still get to the logon page where I want to logon as administrator, but nothing happened.

Ok, I am in my PC now. I manage to restore with my Win 7 DVD. Don't know why I did do that in the first stage. Maybe someone can help me?
I want to delete an account. I do not want Win7 to ask me for a password. It must just start up. How do I do that
    Thanks

What did you do? Did you do "system restore" to go back in time?

You know how to delete an account I assume (you have to delete it when logged on with another account with admin rights). Afterwards you still have and amdin acoount (the one you did use to delete the other account).

After that do Secure Logon - Press CTRL + ALT + DELETE to log on to DISABLE secure logon. Now on boot you see all users. How many are there?

You can remove the password on same screen where you did remove account.

Kaktus, thanks. I tried everything and then I saw that Win 7 Ultimate does not have the option in netplwiz.exe to choose not to press ctrl+alt+del to logon. So maybe it wil stay as is.

You only have one user? So other has been deleted succesfully already... nice. Did you remove the password of remaining account already? Try to reboot afterwards. Maybe it logs on automatically because it's the only choice you have and there isn't a password. Of course disable secure logon first
