Is this possible? Cloning PC to laptop

Say I have a PC with Windows 7, clone the hard drive to a new drive and install this new drive clone in the laptop, then install the laptop specific drivers. This way I could replicate all my PC programs+data in my laptop. Will it work?

So it sounds like you are still looking for an alternative?

If so try cloning the drive this is good as long as you go from same size to same size it will go small to large but not the other way Best free backup software. Hard drive backup and recovery, image and clone freeware - EaseUS Todo Backup Free
