Can I include Hotmail data in regular Win7 backup

I use Win 7 backup to a separate 1Tb hard drive. It is set for backing up on a weekly basis.
Is it possible to configure the backup to include my Hotmail/Outlook emails?
    Regards Ag.

Are you using Outlook for all of your Hotmail e-mails?

Which version of Outlook are you using? I'm using Outlook 2003.

    Thanks for your reply, 'TwoCables'.
    I'm using Outlook 2007.

Your reply jogged my memory to the fact that I can open Hotmail emails via Outlook, and have a Hotmail file folder. This I think would then allow my Hotmail emails to be backed-up.
But...from memory, I need to download a special M/s program to let me do that.
    Is that correct?
If so,do you know the name of that program please.
    Regards Ag

It looks like you're correct, according to this guide:

    Once again, many thanks 'TwoCables'
Have downloaded the 'connector', read as much as I could about it, and now have my Hotmail account showing in the Outlook Folders.
It's a pity one can't move the Hotmail folder into "Favourite Folders'

I assume that it will now be backed up, just as all the other folders are backed up.
    Thanks again
    Regards Ag.

    You're welcome!

As long as you select Personal Folders when doing Import and Export, the Hotmail e-mails will be included. I mean, I'm assuming that they're being downloaded into the Inbox inside of your Personal Folders folder tree. If it's in a separate tree just like how Archive Folders is, then you'd have to make sure to select it when you do Import and Export.
