BootMgr Missing after Easus Repart of C - No Repair Tool is Working

If I were to install Windows fresh in the C drive... it should replace/repair the Boot Manager, right? And then if I ran Paragon recovery again from a rescue CD and tried putting that archived image back to the drive.... would that work?

I get different errors depending on what process/utility I am trying to execute a successful boot from.

After Paragon did the recovery process to put back the archive image, the reboot ended in a black screen with "MISSING BOOT MANAGER".

Using Win OS/Repair CDs, it says the version is not compatible, even though it is the same version.

Pressing ESC key at boot to go into boot menu, and choosing the System Recovery, I got the text screen I referred to above as flipping over and over in a loop... "Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.... etc... startup repair can help diagnose... etc" with an option to Launch Startup Repair or Start Windows Normally. If I launch the startup repair, it goes right back to this screen after a second...

...if I choose to Start Windows normally... now (at this second) I get this: Image codes: 1

... and I will check the cables but I really doubt that's it...

Is OS win7 (on C drive) with service pack 1? Is win7 install dvd with service pack 1? Both x64 or both x86?

They are both 64 bit and I don't know what SP she had but the repair disk iso I downloaded and used (in addition to the OS iso I DLd and used) was clearly stated by MS as being for all 64 bit systems.

Most likely not! You did override whole disk already

I thought maybe Paragon did not make an archive of the bootmanager and that the fresh one (from a new installation) would stay... in Macrium you have a choice to replace the MBR or not when restoring, but Paragon doesn't seem to have that option from what I saw....

Like I say, I cannot remember offhand if her computer came with Home Prem SP1 or just Home Prem...she got it just 6mo ago. And the Home Prem 64 OS iso I downloaded... it was a link from MS and did not specify or differentiate... they had available only one Home Prem 64 bit OS so...

you told me you saw win7 boot logo for a split second. How did you do that?

When I chose the option to boot normally I saw the normal "Starting Windows" text where the logo usually appears above it, but instead within a second it goes to the black text screen in the image above.

And I opened the machine and the HD is buried. No way to get to it without taking everything apart but we know a cable isn't loose anyway... this started with Easus resizing C.

The Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit iso was the full retail version, which of course you need a product key to run, which she has on the side of the machine. I went to countless sites last night trying to fix this, so I am sorry but I don't recall the link. But it was a MS help forum I believe.

I know the Windows Repair disc came from MS... and they specifically said it contains all 7 OSs and the only thing you needed to do was to get the one for 32-bit systems, or for 64-bit systems.
