Robocopy does not mirror folder on USB external drive.

I am using robocopy to mirror folder as a backup, using the /mir command, it does work on my home server, but on my external drive it wont do anything with certain folders, even if they were drastically changed on the source.

I have tried changing the owner of the folder and basically allowing anyone access to any file or folder on the drive with no luck.

    Does anyone has another idea?

    Thanks,
    Raf

Does it give you an error message? If so, what does it say?

Not that I have seen, it goes thru the files and ends, is there a way to report errors?

Are you using a batch file? If so, may I ask to see the script?

it's a batch file, I dont have here with me, but basically is:

    robocopy /mir source destination
    robocopy /mir C:\my documents H:\my documents

there's two more folders that get copied but they use the same command.

That's so weird. I can't imitate the problem.

Could it be the space between the folder name?

Indeed. Perhaps it should have quotes around it.
    robocopy /mir "C:\my documents" "H:\my documents"

Think Tank the " " did the trick, can I use that to all the robocopys I have? I mean I never used a script or batch that hat to use that before
