    Files in cache

    Hi

I wonder if it is possible to recover a file.

    Let me explain.

Had a program which I everytime done a backup to pen, I had to select the pen and the program generated the file to the pen and what happened was that I lost my pen.

Any chance the file has been cached on the PC?

Any chance to get it on PC?

Hi there, you can try Recuva - Undelete, Unerase, File and Disk Recovery - Free Download to recover lost files from your computer hard drive.

    Hi Dinesh.

This wasn't a file in PC, only was generated a backup automatically for the pen.

There is a file cache maintained by the system but there is no way to see it's contents or any way to access it. If possible this would be a serious risk.

Flash drives should never be used as primary storage for important files. They should be used primarily as a transport media. All files of any importance need at least one backup copy while those pf particular importance need 2 or more backup copies.

If you did not save the files elsewhere, as you certainly should have, then I expect the file are gone. Having the only copy of a file on a flash drive is asking for trouble.
