    System Restore does not restore/complete

Hi. I'm new, so I hope I'm doing this right.:) I'm having several problems with my computer. I have tried to use system restore to correct some of them, but when system restore is finished I get a message that nothing has been changed; my system has not been restored to the restore point chosen. How can I fix this?

Please, explain in more detail what issue/s you are experiencing.

We cannot suggest a fix without knowing the symptoms.

John, when I use system restore, I use a system restore point. However, after the restore is complete, and I restart my computer a little box comes up on my desktop that says NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE. In other words, system restore did not work?restore my system to the earlier time chosen. I have tried using different restore points with the same result...nothing was changed.

Thanks so much for your replies. I still haven't tried your suggested solutions, but I will sometime today. I had so many problems with my computer, I had to address them one by one. the replies I have received from my posts have been helpful in solving them. Thanks again. I'll let you know it it works. I saw this when I came here today. What do you know about this download?

The link looks like an ad trying to get you to buy something. Ignore that for the time being. == Why are you doing a System Restore? There must be a problem you are trying to correct. Tell us that so that we may better help.
