Check in Device Manager this is the correct Network Adapter for wireless and if not post back the name of the wireless LAN driver:
Realtek Wireless LAN Driver for Windows 7 (32/64)

    Ethernet driver (wired): http://cdgenp01.csd.toshiba.com/cont...C40049900C.exe

Best to plug in by wire for install as there's a 70% chance Ethernet driver will be provided by installer.

The wireless that shows on laptop is realtek RLT8187B Wireless 802.11b/g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter

And I do not see a Ethernet driver...

On Skype is it a pic of you?

Yes my Skype has a pic but it's not video, just voice. Call me if you want.

That should be the wireless driver to put in your backup. The Ethernet should be the Realtek driver listed under LAN, only one.

Greg...sorry...just finally found where I saw you mentioning something about "ethernet drivers"...I just looked and this is what I show...Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller There's 2 other ones but this one has an arrow in the tv's pointing down and if I right click on it it tells me to either update the software enable it uninstall or scan it.

Doreen that post was from two weeks ago before I helped you remotely Clean Reinstall your Win7. I had also asked you to report back the results in this thread so that others who were following it could learn how it was resolved. This way the forums doesn't start frowning on us disappearing sometimes to help special cases via remote, leaving the thread dead in the water.

Well I apologize for that Greg but sometimes health takes precedent over anything else. For the most part of the reinstall it went great...I'd like to know what I have to do with that ethernet driver...and after that I believe I fixed everything else that needed to get fixed. But I couldn't be happier with my reinstall and all your help does not go unnoticed at all and I truly from the bottom of my heart Thank You for helping me.

I don't remember having any drivers in error in the Device Manager, so as long as you can connect with a good and stable connection there's no reason to worry. Ethernet is only needed to connect by wire anyway. If you want to test it then plug in by wire to your router to see if it also connects.

If there are no other issues then you can mark the thread Solved at top.
