    Shortcut to Create Restore Point

    Hello all:
I just migrated from XP to Win7 and am trying to get used to the changes. In XP I had a shortcut in my start menu that took me to the System Restore app. In XP this app covered both creating a restore point and performing an actual restore. In Win7 they are separate. The shortcut info in XP was:

    target:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore\rstrui.exe
    start in:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\Restore

I did a search for rstrui.exe (in Win7) and ran it. It took me to the System Restore app that performs a restore. I'm looking for a link that takes me to the app that is for creating a restore point.

I know very well that I can get to this via the control panel, but I would like to have a link in the start menu that takes me there directly, as it did in XP.

So, does anyone have a solution to this? Any help is very much appreciated. I hope I'm making myself clear. :)

Fantastic! Thanks a million! It's kind of odd that the folder needs to be in Program Files, but it's a small price to pay for a very handy shortcut.

    Thanks again! :)
