Windows Backup Errors - Cannot Find the File Specified

    Hi,

I ran Windows backup and the backup didn't complete successfully due to some files that couldn't be found.

The missing files are associated with the UpdatusUser user account. I think this user account is a type of system account that's used for application or program updates other than Windows or Microsoft update.

I may have deleted something some time ago in an attempt to remove old software from my system.

Is there a way to delete this entire user account and then reestablish it so that it is available to whatever programs use it?

I think that if this user account was restored to its "like new" condition, I wouldn't get the Windows backup errors.

I don't have a restore point or system image that predates this issue.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    Regards

    I resolved this issue.

The UpdatusUser user account is a feature of Nvidia automatic updates. I must have corrupted that user account deleting other software. I deleted the user account and all the Nvidia software and drivers and reinstalled them. My subsequent backup was successful.
