Simple & Reliable backup software to USB drive? Needed

Is there software that will simply backup, monitor a few folders for any changes and produce incremental backups while immediately backing up any changes or additions to a USB drive...preferably free software or inexpensive?

    Thanks!

    My choice

Personally I've always used AutoVer. If you set it up correctly it will instantly back up any files or folders whenever a change is made to the contents. The key is - setting it up correctly!

    Beans Place: AutoVer

I have been using SyncBack Free for a long time now to backup all my data onto my External drive.

It can easily be configured to backup the way you like. It is version 3.2.21.0. I haven't updated it since I installed and started using it for there is no need for it.(The current version is v6)
