Backup Windows 7 settings before reinstall?

Is there any way to save these windows 7 settings: windows explorer settings, theme settings, file association, taskbar settings? Maybe some program that can do this?

I know Windows 7 has Windows Easy Transfer option, but it doesn't save this type of settings.

Hi peter7277 and welcome to Seven Forums. I apologize no one has answered you questions. You have had many views so I suspect there is no such program, I haven't heard of one at least.

    Hello Peter,

If you like, you could do this to help some:

    1) Create a .themepack file to save your theme, and be able to install it after a clean install to restore your theme.
    2) What type of taskbar setting?
As for the rest of the settings you wanted to back up, this most likely could be done by exporting their registry settings, and importing them to restore. If you like, give a list of each specific setting you wanted to back up, and I'll see if I may know the registry key to export for you to back it up. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I just thought that there might be a program that can do this, but obviously there is not.
