HDD seems corrupted, I cant load anything.
Hello to everyone here at SevenForums,
My problem begins with a file i deleted from the
System32 folder. I thought it was malicious and can't remember the name of the file either,
after deletion I rebooted my pc and at startup i got the Windows did not successfully boot message with the option to start Windows normally or launch startup repair.
Fact of the matter is, i cant get into anything with the hdd connected anymore. Cant launch startup repair (it freezes), cant boot the Windows install disk (guess what? It Freezes!).
i tried with another hdd i hace and everything works fine including the install disk, expect when i boot my second hdd with the problematic hdd, go to my computer and click on the D drive, guess what? It freezes again until i unplug the d drive. I cant read the stats on it, cant do anything with it. I Just dont understand.
Am i stuck with a corrupted hard drive?
is there a work around?
a loop hope to restore the contents of my recycle bin to fix this?
Everything freezes up with this hdd drive plugged into to the sata Port.
as for as specs go i dont know much other than its an Old Dell dimensión e521. Pc is crap, what i care for is the contenta of my hard drive.
please wise ones, help me with a solution because i am stuck and Just about had it..
