How to restore access to 7RC after 7RTM Install?

Hi folks,

Like a lot of people, I've been running on W7RC but carrying around a historical Vista partition. Over the weekend I upgraded the Vista to 7RTM. I would still like to be able to boot into RC now and then until everything is settled over in my RTM installation. But there's no option to boot to that partition, and in Admin Tools... System Configuration... Boot there's no listing for it.

What's the easiest way to get it back? To be clear, these are both partitions on the same physical drive.

Marc

Hi Marc,

Have a look at easyBCD

Download EasyBCD 1.7.2 - NeoSmart Technologies

Follow the instructions on the site for adding a Vista system to an existing boot and you should be able to add your RC

Normal warnings apply of course - Protect your data and make sure you fully understand the procedure, before you start

7 RC or 7RTM
What are you running? RC public release from microsoft or RTM from MSDN ? reasons why? I'm thinking about going back to the RC. I don't remember the rc being as buggy as the rtm. i'm having more program crashes and windows media center is more buggy then the rc.
